He is survived by: his spouse Mary Lavin (Aylward); his parent Robert Lavin; his children, James (Jennifer) and Julie (Devyn Kerr); his grandchildren, Shannon Horbonis and Jackson Lavin; and his siblings, Paul (Lois) of Narberth, Linda Lavin (Norbert Leska) of Conshohocken, Judy Polinski (Daniel) of Sayre, PA, Mark (Stephanie) of Virginia Beach, VA, Janet Carr (Daniel) of Newtown Square, PA, Stephen (Jane) of Apex, NC, Kenneth (Kimberley) of Emmaus, Florence Hall (Jeffrey) of Perkiomenville and Robert (Janet) of Macungie.
