Marianne Muri Banholzer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2025, at the age of 92, Marianne Muri Banholzer of Pennsylvania Furnace, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip J. Bauman and Hilda M. Bauman (Wirtner); her former husband Paul H. Muri; her husband Stephen M. Banholzer; her son Michael C. Muri; her grandchildren, Jason Colabove, Christina Kearn and Joshua McConnell; and her siblings, Jean Ann Bauman, Rosemary Riscigno, Ruth Weamer, Anita M. Bauman, Philip "Joe" Bauman and Paul J. Bauman.
She is survived by: her children, Paul H. Muri Jr., David T. Muri (Lynne), Mark S. Muri (Cindy), Terri J. Colabove (Lou), Dianne Crust (John), Cathy L. Adamson (Hank), Marcella A. Fickes, Joan F. Rossman and Lori A. Muri (Nate); her grandchildren, Molly, Jennifer, David, Jimmy, Louie, Shelli, Paula, Megan, Mallory, Aubree, Alex and Kenyth; her great grandchildren, Madelyn, Allison, Evan, Mitchel, Sophia, Noah, Elijah, Leah, Samuel, Jasalyn, Devin, Mackenzie, Madison, Madelynn, Lily, Anderson, Ellory, Emory, Nate, Morgan, Seth, Gabe of Rayna, JJ, Jason, Jaxin, Jagger, Judith and Ivan; her great great grandchildren, Ryker, Nova, Beau, Rylan, Dominic and Eva; her sister Patti Boslet; and her friend Wendy Boone. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rose Hill Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. (118 Rosehill Cemetery Dr, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church (2700 Broad Ave, Altoona, PA 16601). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepard Catholic Church (867 Grays Woods Blvd, Port Matilda, PA 16870).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, 2700 Broad Ave., Altoona, PA 16601.
