Phyllis Lutz Barr Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Lutz Barr of Pennsylvania Furnace, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Morris and Mary Alice Mattern Lutz; her husband John Robert Barr Jr.; and her siblings, Carolyn Zoe Lutz, Charlotte Smith and Charles Lutz.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Barr Foust (Stephen) of Centre Hall, Kevin Barr (Kathy) of Port Matilda, Keith Barr (Cheryl) of Port Matilda and Kent Barr of Lemont; her brother Clair Lutz of Mechanicsburg; her grandchildren, Justin Barr (Jessi), Cody Barr (Olivia), Michelle Foust Collison (Craig) and Heather Foust Zimmerman (Donald); and her great grandchildren, Taelon, Kadence Barr, Brewer, Milo Barr, Taylor, Chase, Caroline, Lydia Collison, Carl and Klay Zimmerman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fairbrook United Methodist Church (4201 W Whitehall Rd, Pennsylvania Furnace, PA 16865). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Grays Cemetery.
