He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin A. Edwards and Bertha Edwards (Coil); and his siblings, Richard Edwards and Joanne Bagley. He is survived by: his wife Julia "Julie" D. Edwards (Lubowiecki); his daughters, Linda M. Okonsky (Timothy) of Hatboro, PA and Susan D. Goepfert (Randy) of Quakertown, PA; his grandchildren, Megan, Miranda, Sean, Tyler and Emily; his great grandchildren, Brody, Autumn, Hunter and Owen; and his sister Ellen Proffitt (Cary) of Van Wert, OH.
