He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Y. Alderfer (Benner); his parents, Henry W. Alderfer and Aquilla Alderfer (Miller); and his siblings, Willard Alderfer, Grace Sheetz, Mary Rice, Miriam Detweiler, Pearl Freed and Florence Alderfer.
He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Sue Lane (Joe) of Gibsonton, FL; his grandchildren, Kandice Bok of Gibsonton, FL and Randy Bok (Kelsey) of Wimauma, FL; his great grandchildren, Gage, Jayden, Nevaeh, William, Cameron and Levi; and his sisters, Elizabeth Myers of Souderton, PA. and Alice Detweiler of Souderton, PA..
