He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schaefer and Joan Schaefer (Henry); and his brother-in-law Robert Murray. He is survived by: his close friend Barbara Lokay; his sisters, Susanne Ward (Buddy) of Hampton, TN, Lois Murray of Lansdowne, PA, Gail Schaefer of Hampton, TN and Kristine Puglisi (Phillip) of Ridley Park, PA; and his siblings' children, Nicholas Germano (Angela) of Largo, Charles Howell, Jr. (Nicole) of Avon Park, David Shirey, Jr. of Largo, FL, Lamont Garner (Ginger) of Philadelphia, PA, Karen Prigg of Lansdown, PA and Amanda McGinn of Ridley Park, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bucks County SPCA, 60 Reservoir Road, Quakertown, PA 18951.
