He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Paine and Mary Paine (Lewis); and his siblings, Elizabeth P. Good, Kathryn P. Sattazahn, Mary P. Matarazzi and Robert L. Paine.

He is survived by: his sisters, Madeline P. Moyer, Anne P. Owens and Janet P. McParland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
