He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia R. Day (Burley); his parents, Harold Diekman and Marjorie Catherine Day (Ronald); his stepparent Melzor C. Day; and his son Patrick A. Day.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey T. Day (Eunice Rush-Day) of Perkasie, Sarah E. Terry (Ronald) of Houston, TX and Brian A. Day (Carla Calabrese) of Birmingham, MI. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
