He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Linda; his children, Linda Chasi-Portilla, Adam Nawarynski (Lizzy) and Janine Nawarynski; his grandchildren, Collin, Michael, Lena and Justin; and his siblings, Maria Konopacka, Michele Patricelli and Peter Nawarynski. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA 19103 would be appreciated by his family.
