She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Richard Walizer; her children, Richard Walizer, Ezra Walizer (Michele), Leonard Walizer and Barbara Ann Walizer; and her siblings, Francis McColpin, Kathy Adam and Raymond McColpin (Marie). She was also cherished by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, P.O. Box 5014.
