He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Lane and Lonie Adams-Lane; his wife Maebelle Sistrunk; and his siblings, Flora Belle, Joseph Sr., William and Dossie.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa (Richard Robinson), Robert, Lorianne, Yvette (Edward Johnson), Sharon (Patrick Dawes) and Crystal; and his brothers, Clinton Lane Jr. and Alex Burney. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews.
