He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeannette Whiting and Charles E. Whiting; his sisters, Hilda and Esther; and his wife Beatrice.
He is survived by: his brothers, Robert and Richard; his daughter Debra L. Fox (Sloan); his grandchildren, Lisa Grosso (Jim) and Brian Fox (Valorie); and his great grandchildren, Tabitha, Melanie Grosso, Kaleb and Jenna Fox. He is also survived by five children.
