She was predeceased by: her father Herman Moreno; her aunt Poinsetta Hall-Cooper; her uncle Kevin Hall; her grandmother Octoria Hall-Meades; and her parents-in-law, Floyd Timson and Joyce Timson.
She is survived by: her mother Carolyn S. Hawkins; her daughter Julianne Melissa Steele; her husband Lawrence M. Timson; her stepfather William Hawkins; her sister Melissa D. (Missy); her brother-in-law Nashon Hornsby; her brothers, Kevin T. Moreno and Benjamin Hawkins (Tonee); her sister-in-law Katrina Timson; her nieces and nephews, Christopher Timson-Huff, Alexander Huff, Din K. M. Mayfield, Richelle Mayfield and Nia Mayfield; and her great-nephew Joah J. L. Mayfield. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.
During the pandemic of 2020, Cynthia made a YouTube video that received many viewers and garnered a multitude of gift cards, water, food and other donations for homeless people living in "Tent City" in Washington, DC.
