He was predeceased by: his son Elwood Guy Houser III; and his brother William Houser (Elouise). He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Houser (Macklen); his children, Forrest Houser (Ruth), Bruce Houser (Denise), Scott Houser (Diane) and Sara Ruth Fair (Keith); and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Macklen and Kathleen Futrell. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has chosen to send donations to Colontown. Colontown is supported by the PALTOWN Development Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 organization.
