He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margaret Mary Markey (Peg); his daughters, Fran Markey (late Alice) and Linda Bennett (late Don); his grandchildren, Dan Bennett (Laura) and Brittany Bennett (Shane Coyle); and his great grandchildren, Joey and Mikey Bennett.
