He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Ralph Manis, Sr. and Estelle Evans Manis; his brother Robert Manis; and his grandson Trenton Johnson. He is survived by : his children, Ella Manis Jordan, James Woodbridge (Althea), Sean Johnson (Cortella) of Charlotte, NC and Markeith Hoffler; his close friend Prince; his wife Joan Manis; his granddaughters, Brielle Jordan, Corshonda Johnson and Dhakiah Woodbridge; his sisters, Ruth Dixon (Earl) of Randallstown, MD, Jeanette Manis, Lillian Manis, Juanita Moore, Patricia Ligon, Arlene Brown, Janyce Manis, Sherri Manis, Carolyn Manis and Lori Manis; his siblings-in-law, Mary Whetts, George Whetts and Dennis Whetts; his goddaughter Kendra Streat; his aunts, Lorraine Felts and Shirley Bagby; and his close friend John Parker. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
