With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James F. G. Scheidt of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 57. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ann Scheidt, David Scheidt (Carol), Kayla Roberto (Tony), Kurt Schmidt, Thomas Schmidt, Karl Schmidt and Diana Sears (Justin Gonzalez); and his parents, David Scheidt and Ruth Ann Scheidt.

He is survived by: his siblings, Sara Sears (late Charles), Martin Scheidt (Lisa) and Edith Scheidt; his great-nieces, Kennedy Ann Scheidt, Delaney Scheidt and Lily Roberto; and his close friend Jersey Jim.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Jim's name to the American Heart Association and to Immanuel Lutheran church.
