In loving memory of James Johnston Jr. (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who departed this world on September 28, 2025 at the age of 60. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Johnston and Eileen Johnston Sr.; and his sisters, Eileen Gallagher and Carol Rodgers. He is survived by: his sister Susan Krecko (Charles); and his sibling's children, Michael Gallagher (Melissa), Sherri McGinn (Bobby), Steven Gallagher (Danielle), Brooke Rodgers, Amber Borelli (Michael) and Kyle Krecko (Alexis Gordon). He is also survived by his aunts, cousins, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Gabriel's Church (2917 Dickinson St, Philadelphia, PA 19146). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jay's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
