He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Moore and Elizabeth Moore of Trenton, NJ.. He is survived by: his sibling's children, Barbara Morrison of Yardley, PA and James Moore of Philadelphia.

“In loving memory of James W. Moore S.J., Someone so special will not be forgotten. In 1967, I returned home from the Army with a dream to go to St. Joseph's College. With poor High School grades and no SAT scores I met with Father Moore to ask for a change to be admitted. He offered me a challenge, take three courses that he selects, average a B and you're in. I will forever be grateful to Father Moore for giving me the opportunity to earn my SJU education and a wonderful rewarding career.”
