She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent Ewing; and her child Thomas. She is survived by: her children, James Ewing (Pamela), Peggy Monahan (Mark), Anita Riches (John) and Mary Wark (Jim); her child-in-law Clare Ewing; and her brother Jack McGovern.
