Joann R. Polutro Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann R. Polutro (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joann R. Polutro to pay them a last tribute.
Though Joann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her spouse Carmen Polutro; her children, Carmen Polutro II (Kristy) and Joseph Polutro (Nicole); her grandchildren, Nicoletta, Santino, Rocco and Lucca; and her brother Michael Sofi (late Barbara). She is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Annunciation B. V. M Church (1511 S 10th St, Philadelphia, PA 19147). A Mass will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (626 Baily Rd, Yeadon, PA 19050).
