He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte (Kuscavage); his parents, Maciej and Helena (Piotrowski); and his siblings, Blanche Grum (Edward), Jean Stec (Eddie), Louis Rakszawski (Anna) and Frankie.

He is survived by: his children, John M. (Anne) of Allison Park, PA, Beth Delaney (Jack) of Lafayette, NJ and David C. (Paula) of Marydel, DE; his grandchildren, Karla, Brandon, Patrick, Bernadette, Alyse, Jackie and Zakary; and his great grandchildren, C. J., Calvin, Bowen and Edie.
