He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine O'Connor and Edward O'Connor; and his siblings, Edward, Roger O'Connor and Rosemary Bradshaw.

He is survived by: his wife Denise O'Connor; his children, Jennifer Lapsley (Jamie), Shannon O'Connor (Fuzzy Sist), Constance O'Connor, J. Brian O'Connor, Jr. and Kaitlyn Hoff (Rob); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Makayla, Parker, Braxton, Connor, Willow, Logan and Gunnar.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Brian's name should be made to the Fraternal Order of Police Local #7 or your local Fire Department in honor of his many friends who served.
