He was predeceased by: his son Joseph I. Donahue. He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Donahue; his grandchildren, Joseph, Ryan and Ali; his brother Jack Donahue (Marianne); his niece Lisa; and his great-nieces, Michaela and Angelina.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Magnolia Cemetery (6950 Tulip St, Philadelphia, PA 19135).
