It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph M. Worthington (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 1, 2019, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Rachel E. Worthington; his parents, Anne Cooney and Joseph F. Worthington; his siblings, Florence "Bun" Bermender, Patricia and Bob Sands; and his parents-in-law, Ednamay E. Olszewski and Robert J. Hafer Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Trisha Hafer-Worthington; his siblings, Ann "Nan" Rieker, William "Bill" Rieker and Lois Sterling; his siblings-in-law, Linda Rieker, Ednamay "Missy" Moser, Robert Hafer Jr., Annmarie "Bunny" and Edward Hofmann; his stepmother-in-law Mary Hafer; and his pet Soot. He is also survived by 24 nieces and 17 nephews, 22 great-nieces and 17 great-nephews.
