He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph V. Gable and Marie Gable; and his sister Diane Gable. He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Joseph W. Jr. (Megan), Catherine E. Gable (Edward) and Brian F. Gable (Anne); his grandchildren, Matthew, Anastasia, Joey, Brian and Eleanor; his siblings, Elizabeth Whitbeck (late Francis), Deborah Burgess (George), Marianne Gable, Robert Gable (Marie) and Denise Bigelow (Wayne); and his siblings-in-law, Marie Walsh (late James), Francis McCrorey (Patricia), Kevin Campbell (late Anne), John McCrorey (Kathleen) and Michael McCrorey.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
