It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katharine Taws Claghorn (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 24, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward T. Taws and Helen Taws; and her husband Frederic S. Claghorn. She is survived by: her sons, Frederic S. Claghorn, Jr. (Mary) of Gwynedd Valley, Edward T. Claghorn (Katrina) of Wayne and James L. Claghorn (Anita) of Monterey, CA.; her grandchildren, Kate Ashton, Tara Nicastro, Anne Claghorn, Samantha Claghorn, Fred Claghorn III, Ted Claghorn, Jr and Justus Claghorn; and her brothers, Edward T. Taws, Jr. of Southern Pines, NC and John M. Taws of Plumsteadville.
