It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo F. McInerney (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leo F. McInerney to pay them a last tribute.
Though Leo may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leo touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, John (late Patricia), Joseph (late Dorothy) and Regina'Jean' Quinn (late Joseph). He is survived by: his wife Janet; his daughter Heather Foor (late Timothy Jr.); and his siblings-in-law, Karen Slimm and Leo. He is also survived by family, his nieces and nephews and his friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Resurrection of Our Lord Church (2000 Shelmire Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19152). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020).
