Leuam Chanthavong Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2025, at the age of 72, Leuam Chanthavong of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Leuam is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Leuam's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Outhay Chanthavong and Soubinh Chanthavong. He is survived by: his spouse Ly Chanthavong (Huangthavone); his children, Vanvilay Chanthavong-Hollar (Steven) of Upper Darby, Vilayway Chanthavong (Mearn Ouch) of Philadelpha and Sunny Praseutsy (Michael) of Philadelphia; and his siblings, Thongsy Chanthavong (Sivong Phouansouvanh) of Philadelphia, Tyler Chanthavong (Viengsavanh) of Harrisburg and Bounkong Chanthavong (Angela) of Louisiana. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home (701 Derstine Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446).
