She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Gaines and Rosa Gaines; and her husband Carroll B. Ware. She is survived by: her son Shawn; her grandsons, Decovin and Christian; her siblings, Clara, Cleopatra, Trent (Helen) and Hugh (Emily); and her close friend Renelda Broadus. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
