She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav (Margarete Guenther) and Peggy; her husband Carl E Fischer; her sister Irma McDowell; and her grandson Nicholas.
She is survived by: her children, Karen DiFelice (Skip), Diane Stockley (Ed) and David Fischer (Kathy); her grandchildren, Adam (Janine), Tim, Brett (Aja), Allie (Marc) and Andrew (Iryna); and her sister Hilda Schnurpfeil (Richard). She is also survived by her 6 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home (10975 Academy Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the John F. Givnish Life Celebration Home (10975 Academy Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in Peggy's honor, may be made to St. David's Lutheran Church, 9169 Academy Road, Philadelphia PA 19114 or to a charity of your choice.
