She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph W. Kern, Sr.; and her brother Frederick E. Fischer. She is survived by: her son Joseph W. Kern, Jr. (Joyce); her grandchildren, Dawn Merz (Dan) and Jeffrey J. Kern (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Avery, Corey, Emily and Brianne.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Marge's name to Peace Lutheran Church 3900 Hulmeville Road Bensalem, PA 19020 would be appreciated.

“My deepest sympathy on the passing of my dear friend marge. We went to school together, worked after school in woolworth's & after graduation in the insurance company. I was in her bridal party & missed her when she moved to philly. Every year via christmas cards, we told each other about our families. The last time i saw her was at our 50th class reunion, my husband frank took both of us & she spent the weekend at our house. I will miss her & keep her in my prayers. Sincerely, angie gelormini”
