It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Rose Benedetti (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James "Ben" Benedetti; her son Thomas; her parents, Elizabeth Nestor and John Nestor; and her siblings, John Nestor (Diane), Roseanne Lerario (William) and Elizabeth Hanstein.
She is survived by: her children, James and Elizabeth Bewley (Raymond); her grandchildren, Thomas, Nina Harper (Josh), Christina Hall (Maximus) and Nicole; her great grandchildren, Lilah and Anthony; her daughter-in-law Elaine Benedetti; and her sisters, Clara Zulli (Carmine), Margaret (Jerry) and Lucille Nestor.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi (601 Buttonwood St, Norristown, PA 19401). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Francis of Assisi Parish (136 Saxer Ave, Springfield, PA 19064). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at the Ss Peter and Paul Cemetery (1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064).
