He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Shua Vang; his daughters, May Thao (Sam Phommathep), Nancy Thao (Tou Keng Vue) and Melina Thao (Jackson Her); and his grandchildren, Asia Phommethep, Evalynn Phommethep, Kailyr Phommethep, Adelyn Phommathep, Seiji Vue, Violet Vue and Meson Her.
