He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Richard (Lesley), Dorothy (Ian), Leslie (Lorne) and Ken (Shauna); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Amy, Megan, Sara, Alysse, Derek, Kendra and Braden; and his great grandchildren, Victoria, Isabel and Levi.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society.
