He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman Downey and Elizabeth Downey. He is survived by : his siblings, Mary Ellen Soldano, Sharon Miller (David) and Kevin Downey (Karen); his aunt Kate; and his uncle Paul Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home (10975 Academy Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice in his memory.
