He is survived by: his parents, Laurie Ann and Raymel Rookard, Sr.; his brother Jesse (Julia); his daughter Alana; his grandmother Ella; and his aunt Lisa.
Raymel was most unique for his sense of humor, intuitive nature, his fearlessness to be exactly who he was and never wear a mask, and his ability to look into the soul of another and know and love others at a profound depth.
