He was predeceased by: his daughter Beth Ann MacGregor. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Doris" FitzPatrick; his children, Ann Romer, Robert D. FitzPatrick and John FitzPatrick; and his sister Joan Bonhage. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Holy Ghost Preparatory School Scholarship Fund 2429 Bristol Pike Bensalem, PA 19020.
