It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary V. Peterson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Rosemary leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Kennedy and Rosemary Kennedy; her husband John H. Peterson; her close friend Charlie Gessley; and her brother Elwood Charles.
She is survived by: her sister Joan Marie Voli. She is also survived by Five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Saint Laurence Church (8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby Township, PA 19082). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
