It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Paylor (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 12, 2018, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jetta Mae Yancey and Bennie Pete Stephens; her siblings, Betty Stephens Bumpass, Jimmy Yancey and Mark Stephens; and her niece Danielle Stephens.
She is survived by: her sons, Shaft Paylor of Philadelphia, PA and Larry Paylor, Jr. of Norristown, PA; her siblings, Barbara S. Brooks of Clarksville, TN, Charlotte Stephens of Kansas City, KS, Daisy Stephens of Roxboro, Gary Stewart and Reginald Stewart; her grandchildren, Isaiah Paylor, Christopher Paylor and Tasir Paylor; her aunt Martha Allen (Herman); her siblings-in-law, Martha Fuller and Clarence "Pete" Bumpass; her daughter Jaclyn Knight of Philadelphia, PA; her friends, Uetta P. Bailey, Victoria Knight and Kamal Barron; her nephew Randy Stephens; Brookstone Lane. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
