She was predeceased by: her former husband Joseph Pindziak; her husband Walter Bilchasz; her son Joseph Pindziak; her daughter-in-law Anne Pindziak; her parents, Aniela Panikowska and Maurice Panikowski; and her siblings, Joseph, Mary, Josephine, John, Veronica, Stanley, Henry and Dolores.
She is survived by: her children, Walter Blichasz (Ruth), Kathleen Rosenzweig (Robert) and Mary Grant (David). She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Sophia's memory to the American Cancer Society or the JDRF.
