She was predeceased by: her parent Robert J. McAvoy; her spouse John P. Monroe; her grandson Charles R. Sims, Jr.; and her sister Francesmary Hamill (James). She is survived by: her parent Teresa McAvoy (Corbett); her children, John P. Monroe and Theresa Monroe Sims (Charles R., Sr.); her grandchild Amanda Monroe; and her sibling Robert McAvoy (Agnes). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
