He was predeceased by: his brother John "Jackie" Owens. He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his children, Cathy Kane (Tom), Karen Owens, Thomas Owens (Shannon) and Kellie McGinnis (Chris); his siblings, Jeanne Neill, Mickey Owens and Billy Owens; and his sister-in-law Mae Riecky. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousin.
