He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benjamin Vance Avery and Jeanette Cabiness; his wife Marie Tate-Avery; his children, Maddison Avery and Erricka White; his stepchildren, Casey Crawford and Calvin Crawford; his stepgrandchildren, Destini, Mirah and Lamar; and his siblings, Benjamin Avery (Christina) and Sonya Cabiness. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
