He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Burns; and his siblings, Eugene, Robert and Nancy. He is survived by: his children, Francis Burns (Andrea), Michael Burns (Deborah), William Burns (Tammy) and Patricia McElroy (Edward); his grandchildren, Pamela, Kathryn, Edward, Nicole, Dana, Alicia, Danielle and Kyle; his great grandchildren, Grace Kelly, Kai, Charlotte, Remy, Dylan and Isabelle; and his brothers, Francis, Donald and James.
