He was predeceased by: his brother Michael Garvey. He is survived by: his wife Patrice R. Garvey; his children, William Garvey and Therese Garvey; his sister Veronica Settembrine; his stepchildren, Suzanne Bruno (Evan), Michael Domanico and Lisa Vardakas (Shawn); and his grandson Jacob.

In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
