He was predeceased by: his parents, Elaine Ruth Evans (Downing) and William. He is survived by: his wife Helene Anne Evans (Kopaz); his children, William James Evans IV, Regina Evans, Jennifer Applegate, Jacob Evans, Jason Evans, Jessica King and Joshua Evans; and his brother Wayne Evans. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
