He was predeceased by: his parents, John Monroe and Plessie Monroe. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughters, Monica and April; his grandchildren, Amber, Jada, Skye and Shawn; and his siblings, Shirley Jones, Imma Jean Huggins, Minnie Leahing, Robert, John and Jake Monroe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
