He was predeceased by: his son Robert Mattheis; and his parents, Albert Mattheis and Catherine Rosinski Mattheis. He is survived by: his wife Emily C. Stephens Mattheis; and his children, Mary Ann Kurtz (Bill), Denise Varisco (late Bernie), Dolly Bucek and Ken Mattheis (Beth). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
