She was predeceased by: her parents, Iola Lee Sims of Birmingham and William Smith of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.; her son Charles M. Pollard; and her siblings, Eugene Thomas, William G. Smith, Andrew Scott and Verries Whitlow.
She is survived by: her husband Charles M. Pollard, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Donna Pollard; her grandson Hassaun (Storie); her great grandchildren, Lyric Victoria and Jayden Jakar; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
